Prepare/Enrich is a program based on a set of five inventories that examine major relationship issues a couple may experience. These inventories are administered by a trained Prepare/Enrich Counselor. They include 4-6 feedback sessions in which the counselor facilitates discussion between the couple based on their inventory results.
There are six goals to the Prepare/Enrich program which are achieved through six corresponding couple exercises, designed to improve the couple's relationship skills. These goals include,
- explore Relationship Strengths and Growth Areas,
- learn Assertiveness and Active Listening Skills,
- learn how to resolve conflict using the Ten Step Model,
- help the couple to discuss their Family-of-Origin,
- help the couple with Financial Planning and Budgeting, and
- focus on personal, couple, and family goals.
The Prepare/Enrich inventories are designed for the various types of couples. They include:
- PREPARE for Premarital Couples
